A Coastline Built for Bad Decisions

Riven Tides brings in a coastal zone that should make squads play slower, at least until someone panics and sprints across open sand. The beach looks like sniper country. The shipping yard gives you too many corners to check. Then there's the hotel, which is the kind of vertical mess where one missed footstep can get your whole team boxed in. Add a barricade wall and a broken-up highway system, and you've got a map that rewards patience but keeps daring you to rush. The new large ARC enemy is the real pressure point, though. If your squad used to brute-force big fights, that plan may not hold up now.

Trials Feel Less Like Waiting Around

The Trials changes are the sort players usually ask for after a season has already annoyed them. This time, they actually matter. Objectives are no longer tied to specific map conditions, so you won't be standing around hoping the right storm rolls in before you can tick off a challenge. That's good, because the old routine of spending top-tier gear just to crack a heavy ARC often felt like paying too much for a bad joke.

Shani's Klaxon Job and the Bigger Picture

If Shani sends you into Clamoring for Attention, don't overthink it. Bring three Wires and one Battery to Blue Gate. Get onto the Warehouse roof and repair the klaxon with the Wires. After that, move east toward the Village and look for the boom box sitting on a stone wall near a parked car, then feed it the Battery.
