Even still, FC 25 Coins finds itself selling millions of copies, seemingly without any issues. On top of that, players that aren‘t rushing out to purchase the newest FC installment are still actively playing the previous ones. 200m engaged players is a massive amount of people, especially for just one video game franchise. It‘s unclear how the engaged players metric was measured, seeing as the job post didn‘t mention if these stats nor did it mention how many copies of the FC video game series has sold. Still, if this job posting is to be believed, it doesn‘t appear as though the FC franchise is stopping anytime soon.

It's been a long week, but that week has been punctuated by Metroid Dread, the newest entry in the long-running franchise. While Anthony hasn't had the chance to dive into it quite yet, Cameron is offering up his early impressions in Episode 43 of Game Rant Arcade, along with plenty of news.

Kicking things off, \ new Avowed details have surfaced via Windows Central. The game will reportedly be similar to Skyrim mechanically, with visuals more akin to The Outer Wilds. Additionally, the game will reportedly be more class-based than what Skyrim offers, which will be a curse or a blessing depending on the player's preferences.

In other news, the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy was confirmed after months of rumors and speculation. There's still little in the way of details about the scope of the remakes, which will include Grand Theft Auto 3. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. However, Rockstar will likely reveal more soon.

More dramatically, FC reportedly wants $1 billion every four years to license its name, setting up a battle between it and EA. However, EA has already registered a trademark for a new name in Britain and the EU, so it doesn't seem likely that the company will be willing to spend that much.

Finally, there have been some more developments about Ubisoft's FC 25 Ultimate Teamure. Ghost Recon Frontline's closed tech test has been indefinitely delayed following negative fan feedback, though Ubisoft didn't cite that as the reason for the delay. Addittionally, Far Cry 7 might have an emphasis on online play, which is in line with recent Ubisoft moves.
