Find the Formicai Outpost

Formicai Outpost is located near the southern edge of the Dam Battlegrounds. The small outpost sits on top of a high hill, making the elevation one of the easiest clues when searching for it.

Move carefully as you approach the location. While the quest itself is simple, the battlefield can still contain hostile threats and other players. Staying alert allows you to reach the objective without wasting supplies on fights that do not contribute to the mission.

After reaching the outpost, locate the main building. This is where the first important quest interaction takes place.

Locate the Quest Backpack

Enter the main building and search the southern side. Near the southern wall, you should find a Medical Bed.

A yellow and gray backpack with a quest marker can be found on or near the bed. This is the container you need to investigate. The marker makes it easier to identify once you are in the correct room, so there is no reason to search every container in the building.

Interact with the backpack and search it. The Raider Flag will be inside. Pick it up and keep it in your inventory as you move toward the second objective.

Follow the Route to the Flagpole

After collecting the flag, leave the building. Instead of returning to the center of the outpost, move toward the rear area near the Grain Silo.

Your destination is a rusty flagpole located outside. The pole is the final objective for “A Symbol of Unification,” so keep your attention on finding this specific interaction point.

The area around the Grain Silo can also give you a useful visual reference. Once you spot the old flagpole, approach it closely enough for the interaction prompt to appear.

Complete the Unification Objective

Interact with the flagpole and your character will raise the worn yellow Raider Flag. This completes the mission immediately.

There is no boss encounter, additional collection step, or defense phase after raising the flag. More importantly, the mission does not require a successful extraction. Once the objective registers, you have done everything necessary for Celeste.

That makes this quest especially convenient for players who want to make progress without spending a large amount of equipment or risking a valuable inventory.

Return to Celeste

After completing the flag objective, return to the underground settlement of Speranza. Find Celeste and speak with her to collect your rewards.
