The first week of Aion 2 Global Launch will probably be full of new drops, upgrade materials, quests, and tempting marketplace listings. With Early Access starting September 30, players have a short period to decide what deserves their attention first. Aion 2 Items will naturally be part of the early progression loop, but spending resources without a plan can leave a character short on important materials later.

A simple approach is to treat Aion 2 Items as a foundation rather than a reason to stop leveling. The Global Season 1 version launches without Heroic purple equipment, so Unique blue gear becomes the main early equipment ceiling. Reaching level 45 and preparing for endgame content should therefore matter more than trying to make every mid-level item perfect.

Unique Equipment Has a Clear Role

Unique gear is especially important because there is no launch Heroic tier competing with it. Players can build around Unique equipment while working through early PvE activities and preparing for more difficult encounters.

Crow Cave and Fire Temple are among the five-player dungeons where this gear will matter. Ranked Expeditions also provide another progression path, while the 10-player Abyssal Forge raid gives players a longer-term goal.

Rather than expecting one lucky drop to solve everything, I would focus on filling weak equipment slots and improving the overall balance of the character. A complete setup is more useful when pushing through content than a single heavily upgraded piece surrounded by outdated gear.

Stat Inheritance Changes the Calculation

The recent change to stat inheritance is particularly useful during launch. Enhancement and stat investments can be transferred to later upgrades because inheritance now succeeds 100% of the time.

That removes much of the fear surrounding temporary equipment. If an early Unique item noticeably improves your performance, there is less reason to leave it completely untouched just because you expect another drop later.

There is still a difference between a useful upgrade and unnecessary spending. Materials should not be thrown into every item simply because the system allows it. The better strategy is to upgrade equipment that helps you reach the next meaningful progression point.

Reach Level 45 Efficiently

Gear score is closely tied to character level and progression milestones. Because of that, the main storyline should remain a major priority during the opening days.

The goal is to reach the global level cap of 45 without spending too much time over-farming content that will quickly become outdated. Story quests provide experience while also guiding players toward additional systems and rewards.

Growth Support can provide another useful boost. Free-to-play players receive basic equipment from Tier 1, while the optional monthly subscription opens additional milestone rewards. Soaring Diva's weapon chests, armor, cloaks, and accessories can significantly improve an early character.

Efficiently using these rewards can help a player move from an early gear score around 2.8k toward the 4k range without relying heavily on expensive marketplace purchases.

Be Careful With the Marketplace

New-server economies can be unpredictable. During the last days of September and the first part of launch, supply is restricted because relatively few players have reached the point where they can consistently provide higher-level materials and equipment.

That can lead to inflated prices. Spending most of your Kinah on something that looks valuable during the first few days may leave you struggling to afford enchanting, crafting, or stat rerolls later.

I would rather keep a healthy reserve and reassess the marketplace after more players reach higher levels in October. A more established economy should provide more choices and make it easier to judge whether a purchase is actually worthwhile.

Get Gathering Level 5 Early

Gathering is easy to overlook when the main focus is leveling, but it can become important for crafting later. Reaching level 5 while progressing through the story is a relatively small task that can remove a major restriction later.

Odellium is one of the reasons this matters. The material is required for high-level crafting, but players need the appropriate gathering level before they can collect it.

Getting this requirement finished before October is useful because competition for gathering nodes is likely to become stronger as more players reach the endgame. A few minutes of preparation early can prevent a much more annoying catch-up process later.

Develop Your Other Power Systems

Weapons and armor are only part of overall character development. Pets and Mounts can also provide permanent percentage-based improvements to base power.

Creature hunting and unlocking these systems should therefore be included in normal gameplay whenever possible. These bonuses may build gradually, but they contribute to long-term progression without requiring constant equipment replacement.

The September 17–18 Launch Scale Test is also useful preparation. Testing both available combat configurations lets players become familiar with movement, combat behavior, keybinds, and settings before September 30.

Enter October With Resources

A good launch setup should give you room to keep progressing rather than forcing you to rebuild everything a few days later. Unique gear, level 45 progression, gathering level 5, useful Growth Support rewards, and a healthy Kinah reserve all fit into that plan.

For players planning their launch budget, buy Aion 2 Items can be part of the wider preparation process, but it is still important to prioritize equipment that supports actual progression instead of spending simply to raise numbers temporarily.
