Simpson warns that starting in January, suppliers will have to raise their prices again, following previous increases this past summer.

This shift is a direct result of congestion at major southern ports like Southampton, Felixstowe, and London Gateway, where there are many idle empty containers.

The rising expenses for road transport are becoming a major concern.
